7 months agoHappy noodle house makes me very happy this was my first time trying tan tan noodles and it was LIFE CHANGING. they are the perfect amount of spicy (I don’t usually do well w spice). The sweet owner also gave us scissors to cut the noodles. The pan friend buns are SO good.

7 months agoThe Best Hand-Pulled Noodles in North America Happy Noodle House absolutely delivered. From the service to the food, everything was top-notch. The Beijing Zha Jiang Mian, soup dumplings, and chow mein were all incredible, but the real standout? The hand-pulled noodles, easily the best I've had anywhere I've traveled in North America, hands down. The flavors were bold, the textures were perfect, and every dish was clearly made with skill and care. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had a great experience from start to finish. If you love authentic, high quality noodles, this is the place. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Vancouver!

7 months agoThe food here is amazing. Great hole in the wall. I loved the tomato egg knife shaved noodles. Perfectly flavored and noodles were amazing texture. The eggplant appetizer was also delicious.

7 months agoVery authentic restaurant with great service and delicious food. So many things to choose from but we did the Chive pockets as an appetizer and the Beijing zha Jiang noddle and pork with spicy chili for the mains. The noodles were quite good and the pork sauce was perfect. Portions were good all though the chive pockets were a bit expensive for just 2 but they were good. The pork with chilis was great and we're actually quite spicy. Definitely recommend.

7 months agoHands down some of the best Chinese food in Vancouver! The amount of flavor they pack in each dish is unreal. I’d highly recommend trying their Tan Tan Noodle, Spicy & Tangy Dumplings, Eggplant with chili & garlic and the fried green beans. Each dish was incredible with very generous serving sizes! The service was also very quick here.

7 months agoHappy Noodle House is great for takeout. Their beef chow mein is flavorful, with tender beef and perfectly cooked noodles. The pan-fried pork buns are packed with juicy flavor. A quick and satisfying meal!

7 months agoWe found this place on the first night of our 3-night stay and ended up eating here a second time—it was that good. Both visits, I ordered the Beef with Vegetables in Chili Oil Broth—the spiciness was perfect for my tastes, and the server was very attentive to my need for drinking water refills . I recommend getting a side of dumplings to share . Wish we could get the same experience closer to home!
